State Farm signs generating millions, Kasich hopes
If you’ve been driving down the highway, you’ve likely spotted an ODOT van patrolling the roads with State Farm signs splattered across the sides. It’s part of a larger initiative by Governor John Kasich to raise millions, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer. Through the initiative, the state will slap signage across anything that can hold a sign. That means vans, bridges, signs, rest stops and highway sponsorship. Want naming rights to the Ohio Turnpike? It can be yours, or at least in name.
