Ohio state representative, Sandra Williams, bought Ohio State football tickets in 2010 like so many Ohioans do each year. Her tickets though were bought on campaign funds and they were listed on her report as “tickets for campaign volunteers.” They cost $2,255, but Williams did not use the tickets. She sold them to lobbyist Ed Hogan and then put the money in her personal account. This morning she was found guilty of illegal conversion of campaign funds and filing a false report, and will be sentenced on Dec. 5.
