For years, the working white class in Ohio have dominated polls as the major demographic. The group is considered anyone with less than a bachelors degree between the ages of 18 years old and 65 years old, but according to WTVN many of those voters are getting older (moving them out of the demographic) and many are dividing within the group that has historically been more conservative. This is the first time this group doesn’t make up at least half of the voters in Ohio and more are beginning to notice that shift in one of the country’s most important swing states.
