The day you turned 16 at one point was a rite of passage, allowing for freedom behind the wheel of a car. Now though, fewer young Ohioans are getting their drivers license. The number of drivers between 16 and 20 years old who excitedly go in to get their license has dropped by 8.5 percent. This could be partly because of changes in major life events. Getting married, getting a job, those things are happening later and later in life and driving is also becoming another event that has been pushed back.
