Port Columbus is nearing the finish line…or is at least halfway to it. The $80 million facelift has been funded through $4.50 being added to each ticket going through the airport and it should modernize the dated space.
“One of the things we did was we knocked out the front of the terminal building over there and added a fourth lane” said airport director Elaine Roberts according to NBC4. With the renovation there will be more floor to ceiling windows and open ceilings for natural light, new ticket counters and other changes. By 2016 it should be new and shiny and ready for travelers.
