The crash that occurred in downtown Columbus earlier this month involving a red pick-up truck and a Groveport-Madison school bus has now claimed a second fatality. City of Columbus chief mobility engineer Bill Lewis passed away as a result of his injuries Monday night. The 58-year-old father of two had been battling for recovery since the crash that saw the pick-up truck with a flat tire slam into the school bus on December 12th, pushing the bus onto the sidewalk and in to Lewis and Ohio State student Stephanie Fibelkorn. Fibelkorn was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to Columbus Police, the accident remains under investigation.
