Emergency drill set for the airport Tuesday

Travelers get ready: there’s an emergency drill set for Port Columbus Tuesday. Both employees and about 200 volunteers will help conduct a full-scale exercise Tuesday night to test how prepared the airport would be under duress. Every three years, the FAA mandates these kinds of drills to prep airports, but during the drill (which will occur between 7 p.m. and 11 p.m.) CMH will remain open for both travelers and pickups, according to the Dispatch. Should be an interesting sight to see getting off a plane at night.
