Firearm found in carry on through CMH

A .22 caliber handgun was found in a carry on early Wednesday in security at Port Columbus. The gun itself wasn’t loaded but 107 rounds of ammunition were with the firearm. TSA responded, alerting the airport police, but the woman who owned the bag said she had forgotten it was in there. She was then taken to the shuttle bus, given her weapon and told to store it in her car.
