Firefighter and rescued cougar cubs together again
In a wildfire in August that raged through Montana, a firefighter saw two cougar cubs, and J.P. Rupp scooped the pair up, saving them from the flames. Those two cougars were named Lewis and Clark and have been relocated to the Columbus Zoo to recover from smoke inhalation. When Rupp found them they were about seven to 10 days old, and the firefighter got a chance to reunite with the two fury, little ones. While Lewis and Clark are still receiving medical attention and not even on display Rupp and his family were able to pet and play with the two cubs in the offices at the zoo, according to the Dispatch.
