The court ordered remediation (which stemmed from a lawsuit to close the schools) went until 11 p.m. Thursday night. Parent files complaint to close Reynoldsburg Schools

Reynoldsburg has hit another bump in the road. A parent has filed a lawsuit at the Franklin County Common Pleas Court against the district to shut the doors of the schools until the strike is over. “The conditions inside the building are unsafe and the superintendent and the board of education have a legal obligation to act to protect the interests of the students,” said parent Tom Drabick who is also an attorney for the Ohio Association of Public School Employees. The teachers are set to meet with the board again to negotiate a contract Sunday.
