Tuesday was cold. It was bitter cold. The drones of people scraping their car off for the first time this season meant it was cold.
It also meant that people needed more energy, more power, and that surge of cold air also led to a surge in request for power. The demand actually set records because of the abnormally cold weather. At 7 p.m. on Tuesday 121,987 megawatts were demanded in the territory.
