OSU student settles with university after accident that took his leg
An Ohio State student who lost his left leg after a campus accident two years ago has now settled with the university. Daniel Hughes was run over by an OSU-contracted dump truck in September of 2012. Under terms of the deal, Hughes will receive $500,000 and the university will cover the cost of his undergraduate tuition.
