Pickerington cancels band trip because of strike
Pickerington Central High School’s band won’t be with the football team Friday at its game against Reynoldsburg High School. Made for safety reasons, some are cautious about the continuing situation with the teacher strike in the district. Wednesday an email from band director Mike Sewell detailed the safety concerns to parents, according to the Dispatch. The game between Pickerington and Reynoldsburg is a rivalry game and police intend to litter the game with more than a dozen officers.
