A small cargo plan that was bound for Columbus crashed into a house in southwest Chicago, killing the pilot but the couple sleeping in the home survived. They had missed the direct hit by inches. After taking off, the pilot had reported that he was having issues with his engine and had requested to turn back and land at the airport again, but he didn’t end up making it back. The plane’s destination was Ohio State University Airport, but what cargo was on board is still unknown.
