The buckeye trees that have adorned the Ohio State campus for years and given the school its mascot might be moving to that state up north. They are the state tree and they could be off the Michigan. The reason why buckeye trees have lived in Ohio for so long is because of the moisture and temperature, but as climate change shifts those factors the trees might shift their roots toward Michigan. While yes, they will continue to live here in the Buckeye state, where they will live is beginning to expand, the Dispatch reported.
