Tourism pumps in billions to Columbus

Tourists have poured billions into the central Ohio economy. Yeah, $8.7 billion. According to Oxford Economics and Longwoods International, about 37.6 million visitors stumbled into central Ohio’s borders last year, and those visitors bought things. A lot of things. “Tourism provides one in every 11 jobs in Franklin County,” said Experience Columbus’ Megumi Robinson, according to WTVN.
