Woman still battling to retrieve her dog

A Pennsylvania woman who lost her dog in April after he escaped from her friend’s backyard in Columbus has been in the middle of a war for her dog back once she discovered Piper was in Central Ohio Sheltie Rescue in Columbus. The shelter though, won’t relinquish the 5-year-old dog. The director of the rescue group, Penny Sanderbeck, says they have every right to the dog and it’s theirs and they are accepting applications for adoption, according to ABC6. Veronica Covatch thinks otherwise. She says the microchip in Piper proves he is her dog.
