Upsides of spamming the Internet: interviews with HuffPost Live

A local Columbus comedian posted the same phrase on Twitter and Facebook every single day for a year. “Franklin & Bash is on TNT right now. Nice,” Danny Stratton wrote over and over and over again. “Franklin & Bash” a TNT TV show starring Breckin Meyer and Mark-Paul Gosselaar (known more as Zach from “Saved by the Bell”), had its two stars do a HuffPostLive interview, and one of the callers was Mr. Stratton himself. He revealed his Twitter/Facebook plan and Meyer explained he thought the account was simply spam. “That’s not a hacked thing?” Gosselaar said.

Turns out, it was just a local Columbus comedian who was then allowed onto the HuffPost Live interview with the stars of the show he tweeted about constantly…and never watched.
