Final call, Rife’s Market closing on Halloween

Rife’s Market, after decades of supplying Grandview and Columbus with fresh produce and food, is set to officially close on Halloween. The store has seen customers come and go through the years as four generations within the family have taken over the business. Mary Kay Rife has been thinking of closing for about two years now, hoping to spend more time with her parents who now live in Florida. “As much as we have loved it and taken pride in it and enjoyed it, it’s just time to re-prioritize,” Rife said.

The market was started by a true Ohio farmer who at one point scoured the state for the best produce to sell.
