To swim or not to swim: goose poop raising lake E. coli levels

E.coli levels started raising eyebrows about how safe it was to swim in local lakes earlier this summer. One of the reasons: goose poop. Feces from animals gets into the water and has been causing seem issues for local lakes over the summer with quite a few lakes exceeding the federal safety level. Buckeye Lake has suffered from this and has had several advisories against swimming in it.
