Wex gets its million dollar man
No, not the Wexner Center but the hospital that bears the Wexner Center name. The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center has announced that Dr. Sheldon Retchin will be the next CEO. Retchin served as the CEO of the Virginia Commonwealth University Health System in Richmond and the university’s senior vice president for health sciences for 11 years. Once ok’d by the Ohio State trustee selection, he will start on March 2. Retchin succeeds Dr. Steven Gabbe who has been CEO since 2008. According to reports, he will make $1.1 million.
