A former band member who was named in the report that led to band director Jonathan Waters’ termination isn’t pleased about her representation in the report, and according to NBC4 was never even spoken to. Lindsay Barrie played the mellophone from 2007 to 2010 and was given the nickname “E-row vibrator” or ERV. She said most tricks rookies are required to do are silly and hers she was supposed to dance, and the claims that she had to imitate a vibrating sex toy were not true and that several parts of the report were lies and misrepresentations. “I know a couple of others who have come out and say this is the first time we’ve ever felt sexualized is because of this report,” Barrie said according to NBC4.
