Gas prices are down in Columbus, with prices from this past weeks 62 cents lower than they were the same time last year. ColumbusGasPrices.com reported Monday morning’s prices at $2.55 a gallon (17 cents cheaper than a week ago), and AAA’s Daily Fuel Gauge listed Ohio’s average at $2.60, compared to $2.76 a week ago. A senior analyst at GasBuddy said all 50 states saw price drops and some even had gas prices drop double digits per gallon, like the $1.99 point seen in Texas and Oklahoma. But drivers don’t need to worry, experts are saying the price drops will be sticking around for awhile. Looks like its time to Google Map the closest station and indulge in a little “all-the-way-full” fill-up today.
