Ohio changing tattoo rules for first time in years

For Ohio, tattoo parlors and piercers haven’t had a new set of regulations since the 90s according to WTVN, and oddly enough, things have changed since the late 90s including tattoos (and significantly fewer poofy, colorful scrunchies). The new rules for the state begin Sept. 1 and would limit piercing guns to just the earlobes, and regardless of parental consent, minors will only be allowed to have certain parts of their body pierced (which is likely for the best). Body art shops will also need to have a specific infection and disease game plan.
