The second report on the Ohio State band’s culture, spearheaded by Betty Montgomery, former Ohio Attorney General, isn’t going to be finished within the original 45-60 days and it will actually be another four to six weeks before the findings are complete. The team has talked with 140 current and former band members, giving more depth to the original investigation, and each interview on average has taken an hour or more, according to the Dispatch. Montgomery’s team has also been conducting anonymous surveys as well as receiving letters and emails from band members. She did reveal that she was making “significant progress” on the report.
