14,000-square-foot gaming venue opening
Friday is the big reveal for the massive gaming arena, MLG.tv Arena, that would be any gamers paradise. It is the United States’ flagship gaming arena, and for organizers it was an easy choice with so many colleges and high schools in the area. Game on. E-sports arena setting up in Columbus
Columbus is about to get a less active tournament in a few weeks. Major League Gaming has chosen the capital city as its location for a video game tournament Oct. 24. The arena will be at 2188 Citygate Drive near the airport for masses to gather to game. There will be bleacher seats, soundproof booths and even live commentary. The first tournament at the space in October is for the “Call of Duty: Ghost playoffs,” and teams will compete for $75,000 in winnings.
