Governor John Kasich and Mayor Michael B. Coleman have big news for little tikes of Columbus. The state will provide $2.2 million toward preschool education, and will go toward a program helping low-income children attend preschool, the Dispatch reported. More than 500 children will be able to take part in the program. “The State of Ohio is helping us to extend Early Start Columbus to more of our children,” Coleman said Friday morning at an event with Kasich on the Near East Side.
