$25k bond for woman accused stabbing ex-boyfriend

The woman who allegedly took a knife to her ex-boyfriend was given a $25,000 bond while in court Tuesday, and has been charged with one count of felonious assault. Following the hearing, Rachel Sankey posted bond.

Police: Ex-girlfriend stabs former beau, slashes tires

Joseph Colon was in his apartment complex on the northeast side with his girlfriend and a former girlfriend apparently showed up. Police believe that Colon’s former girlfriend Rachel Sankey stabbed him in the parking lot as well as slashing his tires. Friends took him to Saint Ann’s Hospital, but he was then taken via MedFlight to Mount Carmel West hospital and police have said he is expected to survive, according to NBC4. Police knocked on doors, but Sankey has yet to be found and a warrant is out for her arrest as they look for her.
