$3M bond for suspect in for police stakeout shooting

For 20-year-old Aaron Clinkscale, it will take $3 million to post bond and in the mean time he is being held Franklin County Main Jail for one count of aggravated robbery, and two counts of murder. Savon Dearmond, 17, was set to appear in court Tuesday as well, but his attorney waived his appearance and he is set to appear in court Thursday. Currently he is being held in a juvenile detention center.

2 shot in police stakeout, 2 arrested

After repeated robberies at a Dollar General, Columbus Police SWAT officers sat outside the store in a stakeout Friday night. The officers saw two men run into the store, holding customers and workers at gunpoint and then running off with money. Officers followed the men where they tried to jump into a car with two other people. Two of those people were shot and killed as officers attempted to take all four into custody, while the other two, 20-year-old Aaron Clinkscale and 17-year-old Savon Dearmond, escaped without injury and were taken into custody. 20-year-old Elisha Glass, and 18-year-old Qusean Whitten were shot during the incident.

Dearmond has been charged with one count of robbery, and two counts of murder and Clinkscale has been charged with one count of robbery.
