Dublin giving free land to Amazon
Free. Yes that’s right. Free land. Dublin is prepared to hand over 68 acres of land to Vadata Inc. (Amazon’s data affiliate), attempting to lure the business’ data center to the area. Dublin Development Director Dana McDaniel briefed city council on the incentive Monday night, and the land is worth about $6.75 million, Columbus Business First reported.

Amazon could bring in $1B project to central Ohio
Amazon could be coming to Ohio, and with quite a hunk of cash.
Vadata Inc. (Amazon’s data affiliate) has been approved for tax credits in Ohio worth $81 million to house a data center project here. According to Columbus Business First, a 15-year sales tax exemption for that facility could lure the company here and in return Amazon would bring in 120 new jobs and approximately $1.1 billion investment. That’s a lot.
