Apple Watch: The next best thing or a total flop?
In case you haven’t been online, or spoken to another human today, Apple has had quite a day. Unlike the iPhone6 that was revealed today, the Apple Watch won’t be available until early 2015, which is quite a wait for those who want to strap on the smart watch right away. The watch is the first new product line that has been announced from Apple since the iPad, and yeah, it’s not quite as changing as the iPad was, but it is intended to be one of the most personal products the company makes, mapping out the user’s heart rate and it has a Taptic Engine for input sensing and a built-in gyroscope and accelerometer. Is anyone falling for it like they did the iPad though?
The madness has barely ended, but Columbusites have already taken to Twitter (shocking):
$349 for Apple Watch and we have to wait until early 2015? There goes my idea of a self-gifted Christmas present… #AppleLive

I wouldn't be caught dead wearing an apple watch

Hear that? That's the sound of a bunch of jawbone ups, fitbits and fuelbands being put in the sock drawer. #applewatch

The #AppleWatch: Because nothing says our society is too attached to our phones more than ACTUALLY ATTACHING THEM TO OUR BODIES.
