Arena District powers up

The old power plant on (555 W) Nationwide Blvd. is about to undergo a major transformation. City officials green-lighted two redevelopment projects from local development team Connect Realty and Schiff Capital Group. Additionally, Dublin-based developer Borror Properties and joint-venture partner Ruscilli Construction Co. have been tapped to develop another property on (640 W) Nationwide Blvd. into their new headquarters. Each project is expected to bring about 150 jobs downtown. DeHays and Schiff plan to make the former power plant and boiler room into 25,000 square feet of office and event space, while converting the 1950s-era third building into an additional 32,000 square feet of officespace.
