In addition to National Hot Dog Day this week, National Dance Day will grace the stages of American’s less loved holidays Saturday. BalletMet (fittingly) is celebrating with the vigor of a child on Christmas morning. Free classes will be taught through the day and the morning kicks off with an outdoor class at 10 a.m. taught by the illustrious Dance Academy Director Timothy Lynch at the Topiary Park. Classes are offered for all ages from preschoolers in the “Leap & Twirl Creative Movement and Story Time” class to “Beginner Ballet to the Beatles” for anyone 16 and older.
