Former OSU marching band members have headed back to campus to march again for recently fired director Jonathan Waters. The group, mostly made up of women, began their march at the band center in the stadium and are planning to end up at Bricker Hall, according to the Dispatch. OSU President Michael Drake’s office is in that building but the members were denied a meeting because he had a full schedule. The alumni were marching for Waters to get his job back, and some said that the culture that was in the report wasn’t completely accurate. This walk is part of the larger support that Waters has seen in the days following his termination, including support at the band’s first concert without him since he had been removed from the position.
