Celebrating Veterans Day from Columbus
Along with freebies going on throughout the day for veterans, the city also has events dedicated to remembering those who have and did serve in the armed services. The annual Veterans Day Ceremony at Grounds of Remembrance in Veterans Park at 11 a.m. will be in Dublin. There will be a ceremony at Veterans Memorial Park in Gahanna. A parade will march from the Franklin County Fairground in Hilliard to Veterans Memorial.
Both Columbus State Community College and Ohio State University will be closed for the holiday, but don’t forget to pay your parking meters. They don’t have the day off.
