A group of about 200 OSU students and community members gathered at the Oval late yesterday afternoon to rally in protest of the Ferguson decision and continued police brutality. The rally featured several student speakers and called awareness to recent attacks by police like those in New York and Detroit. After the rally, protestors marched to the Hale Black Cultural Center on campus and observed four and a half minutes of silence in memory of Michael Brown. They then marched along High Street to join others for a rally at Goodale Park, where about 700 people were expected to attend.
