COTA bus tracking system doesn’t work—still
COTA has long been attempting to get a system working to track all of the buses and allow passengers to track them in real time, which would be handy, expect the plan has once again ended up not working out. The program was supposed to be up and running by the beginning of this year and then the time was pushed to July, but now (with the system still not working) COTA is wondering what it should do with a $7.6 million system that doesn’t function, the Dispatch reported. For now the problem is being pushed aside and COTA users will have to continue waiting for the bus.
