Could drones amp up prison security?

Ohio is set to look into three types of drones that could potentially be used for prison security. They have requested a company research a tethered balloon, a fixed-wing vehicle and a helicopter-like device for possible security purposes. Sensors within the drones aren’t off the table either and infrared sensors have been considered because they could detect inmates outside of the fences, according to NBC4.
