Fire Lieutenant struck by lightning recovers memory

Still going through physical therapy, Stu Tudor, who was struck by lightning in June at the Crew Stadium has regained his memory, ABC6 reported. The off-duty fire fire lieutenant is now able to nod and shake his head in response to questions and form words with his mouth, but is still unable to speak. Tudor is taking speech and physical therapy as he continues to recover.

Fire Lieutenant stable after lightning strike

Stu Tudor, an off-duty fire lieutenant, was in critical condition at the Wexner Medical Center after a lightning strike at the Crew Stadium last month, and has now been upgraded to stable condition. The fire lieutenant is breathing without aid and his eyes are reacting to surrounding stimuli, according to NBC4. Tudor has also been taken from the Wexner Medical Center ICU to the Select Specialty Hospital on Dennison.

Fire Lieutenant in hospital after lightning strike
According to NBC4, fire officials said Stu Tudor, an off-duty fire lieutenant, was taken to the OSU Wexner Medical Center after being struck by lightning in a parking lot near the Columbus Crew Stadium Saturday. He had been playing soccer at the stadium for a charity game. Tudor was resuscitated at the hospital after going into cardiac arrest, officials said.
