Fire truck recall: faulty ladders

Central Ohio is undergoing another recall, but this time on fire trucks because of aerial ladders that will retract while extended. That’s not exactly ideal for firefighters attempting to save lives as they put out raging fires. The ladders are made by a company based in Dublin, and firefighters in Georgia have been injured because of the faulty ladders. While some areas of Columbus will lose their only firetruck during the recall, the city will be able to supplement by sending other area trucks for any emergencies, according to the Dispatch.
