Amy L. Lambert admitted Thursday she participated in a plan to kill her fiancé for his life insurance. She pleaded guilty to one count of involuntary manslaughter and one count of aggravated robbery, the Dispatch reported. If she chooses to testify against the two men who strangled her fiancé, Michael Payne, prosecution has recommended a 20-year sentence for her. Payne’s life insurance was valued at $100,000 and she and co-defendant Maxamillion J. Williams came up with the plan to kill him, prosecution said.
