Hung jury on murder trial leads to mistrial
Wednesday a mistrial was called after jurors could not come to a unanimous decision in the murder trial of Mario M. Harris who is on trial for aggravated murder and aggravated robbery. Monday they told the judge the group was having issues coming to a conclusion, but she urged them to continue to deliberate. Wednesday though with more than three days under their belts, the jurors still could not come to a final decision, according to the Dispatch. The new trial date is slated for Nov. 17.
