Local toy store closing shop

A toy shop on Lane Avenue after years in the business is closing shop. Greg Larson, owner of Larson’s Toys and toy seller for 33 years, is off to Florida for retirement, or so a note said on his door. “Florida is calling!” the note read. The store leaned toward the classic, hands-on toys that weren’t generally easy to find. For many in the community the store was considered a pioneer of sorts because of the speciality items it would carry. Larson’s will officially close in January.
