Man allegedly raped woman, then set her on fire
Columbus Police are searching for a man connected to an assault Wednesday at Blacklick Creek Greenway Trail. He apparently came out of the bushes on the side of the trail, grabbed a woman and dragged her back into the bushes. The woman has said he then sexually assaulted her, poured flammable liquid on her and then set her on fire. She was taken to Wexner Medical Center and the burns to her chest and torso are non life-threatening. The attacker has been described as a thin white male in his 30s and about 6 feet tall.

Woman says she was set on fire in a park
Police responded to a call around 3:19 p.m. Wednesday on a reported assault. The victim told officials she had been set on fire, and was taken to Wexner Medical Center with first and second degree burns on her chest.
