Man barricaded himself into home with 5 kids
UPDATE: The suspect in the morning barricade was taken into custody. Lovell Hicks, 27, was charged with domestic violence and assault.
A man barricaded himself inside a north Columbus home Monday morning with five children inside. Officers were called to the area for a domestic situation and when the man refused to leave the home the SWAT team was called. Police have said that the man threatened to shoot at police. According to NBC4, a woman was able to escape the barricaded home as the situation was beginning. The man was finally taken into custody and it has been reported that the children were not injured.
