Man shot while working on Gahanna home

While a man was working on an unoccupied home in Gahanna, another man came up to him and allegedly demanded his wallet Monday around 1 p.m. The victim then threw his wallet at the man to create a distraction and ran away, according to investigators. As he ran, the man allegedly shot him who was hit in the cheek and then taken to Wexner Medical Center, according to NBC4. Police are searching for a white SUV, and the suspect has been described as a black male.
