Columbus Federal Judge Gregory Frost issued a one-page order that might shape death penalties in the future. The moratorium (which was slated to end this week) is now pushed until Jan. 15. meaning the inmates who were set for execution in September, October and November will be granted a temporary reprieve from their sentence, according to WTVN. This is another facet of the on going changes being made to the death penalty after several inmates have had complications, including an Ohio inmate who gasped for 26 minutes. Changes to the drug combinations are still being heavily debated.
