Most third-graders pass reading test
A whopping 88 percent of third-graders were able to move onto the next grade after passing the third-grade reading test. Still though, 470 students will have to remain in the third grade to pass the reading test. In June CCS announced 74 percent would move on, but that number was bumped up after ready courses held through the summer, the Dispatch reported.
