Not so defenseless: Victim fights back alleged attackers

Sunday night, a man on West Mound and Whitethorne was allegedly approached by vehicle when one of the suspects jumped out of the car and approached him on the road and yelled at him. According to the police, the driver then drove onto the grass in attempts to hit the victim. The victim though, pulled out a gun and shot at the car, hitting the windshield. The alleged attackers have been identified as 24-year-old William C. Evans and 27-year-old James B. Duncan.
