Central OH realtors on high alert after rape

Realtors around central Ohio are on alert after a local realtor was attacked and raped last month. The realtor said she was finishing an inspection at a vacant home in Zanesville when the attack occurred. “I was leaving, getting ready to lock up the house and I sensed that someone was behind me,” said the realtor, who has asked not to be identified. “Before I could turn around, he shoved me back into the house”. She told NBC4 that she was armed, but unable to reach the weapon during the attack.

Muskingum County Sheriff Matthew Lutz confirmed his office is investigating the attack.
